{name:The Enclave#|#picture:0} The attic can be found from a pokey staircase from the fifth floor. It's freezing and frequently drips water when it rains.

{name:Rayna Aldertree#|#picture:3}Rayna made her way up the dark staircase quietly, the book of runes in her one hand and her stele in the other. The weathered stairs under her would normally creak uncontrollably but under her light step they made absolutely no sound. She searched through her sweater pocket for her witchlight at the top of the stairs, Rayna held it out in front of her, illuminating the attic with a golden light. She blinked a couple of times, getting used to the now bright room, she sat down on the floor in a small corner of the room, bringing her knees up to hold the book while she searched. Rayna didn't really know what she was looking for, she just wanted to find something interesting, maybe a truth rune or something.

{name:Adrian Trushcross#|#picture:2}Adrian had no idea where he was going; all he knew was that it seemed to be the attic. Perhaps he’d find boxes full of ancient things, old photo albums and random abandoned things. He was not in the mood to walk outside, he’d rather stay in and explore. He expected so much of this place that when he actually reached the top, he was disappointed even with the lack of light. How could he possibly expect anything less than dust bunnies? Sighing, he searched for a switch on the wall and lit up the place. In reality, Adrian had not been paying much attention to the room and had not even noticed the girl in the corner, “Holy Raziel!” his heart jumped when his eyes flashed on her. He really had not expected to find someone there, “You scared me,” he tried to steady his heart beat. Ever since his father's death, Adrian had always been jumpy...

{name:Rayna Aldertree#|#picture:3}Rayna stood straight at the sound of someone's voice, the heavy book falling to the floor with a loud thud along with her stele. It seemed like she had just been caught by the police committing a crime, Rayna did her best not to fidget. "I didn't know people actually came up here..." she said apologetically, she honestly hadn't meant to freak anyone out, at least not this early on, she had just gotten here. The sound of her voice alarmed her as well, how long had it been since she had spoken a word? Rayna sounded small, fragile, like someone could break her instantly. She sure looked that way as well. When she realized she had been staring at him in the process of thinking Rayna looked away quickly, kneeling on the floor to pick up her belongings. "Do you want me to leave?" she stood now.

{name:Adrian Trushcross#|#picture:2}Adrian double jumped at the sound of the objects falling but this time, he did not let it show. Once was enough. He stared at the quiet girl and shrugged, “Honestly, so did I but I suppose we’re both wrong,” he tried to smile, almost making it look genuine. It was hard to understand him, he knew he wanted to get better; he wanted to smile and laugh and be completely happy but it seemed like his body, his mind was breaking him from doing so. Though, he did look better...or at least more confident than she did. “Oh, no...” Adrian walked to the window and opened the wooden doors that hid the beautiful and rare London sun from them. With the light, the attic almost seemed normal. “You were here first, don’t worry...” he said, looking outside. Though he seemed comfortable around people, his voice almost sounded emotionless, “I won’t bother you,” he finished.

{name:Rayna Aldertree#|#picture:3}Rayna sat back down in the corner, skimming through a couple of pages of the book, no rune stuck out at her like she wanted it too. Maybe it was because she couldn't concentrate and wasn't really looking at them. She couldn't help but feel slightly uncomfortable when someone else was in the room and they were completely ignoring eachother. Rayna stood and walked over to him, holding her book tightly to her, for support in a way. The guy seemed lost with the sight beyond the institute. "Do you like London?" she spoke.

{name:Adrian Trushcross#|#picture:2}Though he was looking out at the window, he sneaked a few glances at the reading girl. Simply by looking at her, Adrian could tell she was a lover of knowledge, one that would probably walk around with a book under her arm everywhere she went. Instead of paying much attention to her after that realization of her person, he focused on the view outside. There wasn’t much to see from the place he was standing, the unequal roof patterns of the Institute hiding most of London’s fine beauty. “It’s a beautiful place,” he said before turning his head to look at the girl. Adrian wondered why she took her nose out of the huge book she was holding to talk to him, “It’s not home but...I don’t think anyone could hate it,” he admitted to her. “Have you been here long?” at the London Institute, he meant.

{name:Rayna Aldertree#|#picture:3}Rayna didn't know what she thought about London just yet, she did look out her window quite often but she never actually built up her courage to actually go out. London was big, it frightened her that she knew no one, she could easily get lost and never come back. "A week." she answered quickly snapping out of her own head. Rayna had been counting the days since she got here, it was almost two weeks and she had yet to go anywhere, she stayed in the safety of the Institute. "And you?" It got awkward when she didn't say anything, so she continued to say things and it surprised her every time.

{name:Adrian Trushcross#|#picture:2}So many people came went in this Institute, it was hard to keep track of; the only person he really knew was his cousin Sophia whom he had not crossed yet. It was so big, so busy and people kept to themselves. Adrian could see how lost the girl seemed, not confused lost but in her own head and for once, he smiled, softly but it was still a smile. “A few days...” he thought about it more, “about 3.” he concluded more to himself, he hardly kept track. To him, it was only days, it was irrelevant. He didn’t know how long he’d have to stay here, how long his mother would have him stay. He understood why, it would force him to talk to others, get out of the house, perhaps force himself to go hunting again. “But I’ve been to London a few times,” he remembered coming here many times with his parents...his Dad and...Adrian squint his eyes, looking out the window, the gray clouds appearing, as if copying his mood. “What’s your name?” he asked only glancing at her once, pushing the depressing thoughts away. She seemed nice enough to distract him for any unwanted moods.

{name:Rayna Aldertree#|#picture:3}Rayna was slowly getting confident with herself, she was even about to ask him what he was thinking about, he seemed so concentrated on something, Rayna was only curious, but then she realized it would be extremely rude of her to ask a stranger about their thoughts. Rayna couldn't believe he had gotten into the Institute later than her, it had taken her a couple of days before she could actually come out of her dorm without being bothered at the amount of people there. And she was still getting used to the place and he was roaming around already. "Rayna Aldertree." she introduced herself, barely realizing she didn't know the guys name either. She was about to extend her hand and shake his but decided it was too late for that. "Whats yours?" she asked, ready to hear Jonathan or something really common.
