{name:The Enclave#|#picture:0} ADRIAN THRUSHCROSS PLAYED BY: Jace Wayland | PORTRAYED BY: Darren Criss BIRTHDAY: March 14th 1992 (18 years old) FAMILY: Joanne Thrushcross [born. Bellefleur] (Mother) & Arthur Thrushcross (Father) RAISED IN: Idris but has lived in Brighton, England ever since he was 7 years old PERSONALITY Before the death of his father, Adrian was full of life, a very happy young man who talked to anyone about anything. He was sweet and considerate and you could always count on him but ever since the tragedy, one could say that he is depressed. The thing is, he is not always like that. One minute he can be the old Adrian and the other, he will be shut out from the world, he will doubt himself and will be afraid to do something wrong. He is a perfectionist and will not act upon anything until he is 100% sure he is able to do it. The death of his father greatly affected him. He used to play guitar, he used to sing simply because he was happy but he has not touched an instrument or cleared up his vocal chords to do anything but talk ever since the death. Sometimes, he was an aching for playing, for writing music, playing his favourite songs but as soon as he touches his guitar, he blocks. The weird thing is that...Adrian is aware of this, of everything in his change of personality. He wants to change, he wants to go back to his old self but it is a working process. HISTORY For seven years, Adrian was raised in an environment of serious Shadowhunters and has always looked up to the men and women of him surroundings that eat and breathed the way of life. One day, the Thrushcross’ decided that he should see the mundane world, that he should breathe a different air and fully understand what the Shadowhunters were fighting for. Though his father wanted him to experience the London life, his mother opted for something a little quieter; Brighton. One day, they would send their son to London, but only when he was ready. At 14, he had learned everything he could and thought himself good enough, he was confident enough of his skills to go on a hunt alone. Little did he knew, his father wasn’t so far away, keeping an eye on him...just in case. When Adrian was face to face with a demon, he stumbled and lost control of the fight; giving the opportunity for it to lunge after him. Little did he know, this was not the simple demon that he was used to killing...this was a Greater Demon, one that he had never seen. His father flashed in front of him, killing it but at the same time...driving him mad; the poison reaching his veins. For years he was sick, the Warlocks finding no cure. They could not explain his non recovery. When he died, he couldn’t blame anyone but himself; it destroyed him completely. All the confidence he had built over the years of training fell in an instant, only leaving him with terrible regret, hatred towards himself and a broken hearted mother. For a complete year, Adrian did not want to train, did not want to hunt or go to Idris. His father’s death was his fault and that was the only thing he could think about. A year later, although his mother still grieved her husband, she was no longer able to see her son this way. He had to understand that death was part of a Shadowhunter’s life; it was a risk that they took. She wanted him to honour his father, become what he knew and believed he could be. And for that reason, he was sent to London while his mother returned to Idris in order to take up her husband’s place in the society. [/div]

{name:The Enclave#|#picture:0} BIRTHDAY: December 17th, 1996 (17) FAMILY: Georgina Aldertree (mother), Charles Aldertree (father) RAISED IN: Idris (until now) PERSONALITY Rayna is a quiet and conservative person when it comes to her parents, her mother raised her to be 'normal'. When she was little and they visited family in England she would somehow wonder off with the Downworlders, she found them fascinating, but her mother didn't. And she always got what she wanted. Over time Rayna's learned to keep to herself a lot of the time, mostly because her thought process was always a little wonky, and her mother always told her to keep quiet, or she would freak every one out. Which she later found out that her mother was right.. she was a 'freaky' girl. And even though she knows the freaky won't ever go away, whenever her parents are away, she likes to observe things.. places, people. It may sound creepy but she doesnt observe in a stalker-ish way, Rayna likes to learn about everyone and everything, the way someone acts or the way something grew. She's learned that every single thing was always slightly different, and it excites her to see and meet new things. To please her mother anyways, Rayna trained hard and it honestly wasn't that bad after awhile, she found the action thrilling, and combat fighting may be her favorite hobby. HISTORY Rayna was born and raised in Idris, its practically the only place she really knows, besides England, which (until now) she's only visited a few times. Her mother was born into the Youngblood family, which is one of the best shadowhunter names you could have... (according to Georgina) and she later on was told by her family to marry Charles Aldertree (maybe that's why she's so bitter alot of the time) They were told to have beautiful, strong, shadowhunter babies. Neither of them expected to have such a weird child, and while Rayna was an amazing Shadowhunter for her age, they were still not pleased with the way she acted. Georgina kept Rayna inside of the house most of the time, to keep from any of the others to talk about her. It was extremely hard not to try and sneak out of the house, she looked out of her bedroom window alot, when she wasn't training. She tried to do something time consuming most of the time.. like painting, but she always failed at it. Eventually, Rayna became tired of the house, even claustrophobic. Her mother gave her great news after turning 10 though, she could go on errands so long as she kept quiet. Rayna did as she was told, going out was the best time she had ever had, alot of the people in Idris found it a huge shock that the Aldertree's even had a daughter. Alot of the time people would greet her, and she stood mute, it freaked them out a bit, but her mother demanded her to keep quiet, so she did. Of course her mother had to brag about Rayna in some way, she invited over a couple of members of The Enclave over when she was training, they were fascinated by how light on her feet she was, they informed the family that they might need Rayna in England fighting off any signs of demons. It took a while for Georgina and Charles to agree to it but Rayna was eventually sent to the London institute, under strict orders. The rules were mostly to behave and if she failed to she would be brought back to Idris. Rayna planned to do otherwise, so long as her parents didn't find out. [/div]

{name:The Enclave#|#picture:0} ADAMINA RAVENSCAR PLAYED BY: Magnus Bane | PORTRAYED BY: Karen Gillan BIRTHDAY: Aprtil 14th, 1997 (16) FAMILY: Lilian (mother), Christopher (father), Melissa (sister, 26), Jebediah (Brother, 22), Benjamin (brother, 21), Oliver (brother, 19) RAISED IN: the London Institute PERSONALITY Adie hates her name, Adamina. The only thing she's happy about it is that she's never called it, it's always Adie. She's grown up being the youngest, being the one that isn't as good as her older siblings, because whatever she does they've done before her, but she doesn't mind. She knows that and just tries really hard to compensate for it. One of Adie's main interests are mundanes she's incredibly curious about them, how they live, how they haven't realised that there are so many more things that are on their world other than what they know. She doesn't know much about them because she comes from a shadowhunter family and that's all she knows. She is bubbly, curious person, if she had to say the animal she's most like it would easily be a puppy. She bugs you and doesn't take things as seriously as she could, she's constantly looking at things and wondering how but her concentration is so short that she hardly ever follows through. Despite that she can be extremely patient and persistant once she decides to follow through on something, which can take awhile because making a decision is a huge thing for her to do. Overall she's someone who will always follow through with what she says, even though it might take her awhile. HISTORY Adie has four older siblings and all the memories of childhood she has is of them. They all grew up in the London institute, training as Shadowhunters as everyone does. Because there weren't many other children around they had to occupy themselves, their parents were away most of the time fighting Demons. Melissa, Lis, is almost like a mother to Adie, and they're extremely close. All through Lis' teen years when Adie was a child they shared a room and Adie had to cover for her as she crept out of the Institute to date a parade of mundane boys. Her brothers, Jack (Benjamin) and Miah (Jeremiah) are parabati, fighting together and acting like twins. They're always upto something and when they were younger playing Hide-And-Seek with them was one of Adie's favourite things, her last brother Ollie (Oliver) is a bookworm and an inventor, he was always in his own world as a kid and he still is now. Only ever leaving the library when he's ordered to by Zacharias Branwell. Adie has never been the best Shadowhunter because she's clumsy, she drops things, walks into things and doesn't have the best reflex'. Despite that she works really really hard to try and be good, to not let down her family, her parents, who despite hardly ever being there, find time to spend with her when they are there. She doesn't want to be a disapointment to anyone. [/div]

{name:The Enclave#|#picture:0} MASON BLACKDALE PLAYED BY: silentgasp | PORTRAYED BY: Tyler Blackburn BIRTHDAY: August 13th, 1996 (17) FAMILY: Amber Blackdale (mother), Jake Blackdale (father) RAISED IN: the London Institute PERSONALITY Mason had always been followed by this reputation of being a bad boy. He tends to act like one, but only at first as a way of protecting himself. However, if you were to ever see him playing the piano, you would see past this. The piano acted like a way for Mason to get out his emotions without really letting everyone in. When his parents died, he began to cut everyone out, but the piano was the one thing that still made him happy. Even with his wall, Mason is a great friend to have. All he needs is time to warm up to someone. Once he gets close to somebody, he is the most loyal person anyone could ever have. He considers the people that have stood by him to be a family to him and would do anything to protect them. For him, his friends are his life, along with his Shadowhunter lifestyle that he is extremely devoted to. He is always dead serious when he is training or getting ready for a fight, wanting to do what he can to succeed. But, he isn’t always serious. Sometimes, and only with great friends, he loves to joke around. Sarcasm is his best friend, although some people tend to take offense to his sarcasm. He is a very caring and friendly person to those that he considers close. It would take a very genuine person to take the time and effort to understand him, but once they try it’s well worth it. HISTORY Mason, unlike many others, enjoyed being the only child. For years he was pampered with gifts and anything he could ever ask for. His family was a very wealthy Shadowhunter family. He grew up in the London Institute although he wasn’t as serious about the lifestyle in his younger life. For him, everything was a joke, but not in a bad way. All he wanted to do was have a good time, and his parents didn’t stop him. His father had taught him to do what he loved. His first love was the piano. He and his father would spend hours in the Music Room each night. Learning the piano from his father was one of the best memories Mason had. Sometimes they would even play together, as his father knew many instruments. As Mason played on the piano, his father would join in on the violin and it would make magic. Their love for music brought Mason and his father close together. When Mason was ten, he got news that his parents had been killed by a Greater Demon. The news clearly upset him. He sulked for months, feeling incredibly alone. After a few months, he decided that he would try his hardest to become a serious Shadowhunter, in their honor. From that point forward, his whole life was devoted to becoming great at what he does. His goal was to eventually defeat one of the Greater Demons alone. The Institute did provide him with more than just the teachings though. The people at the Institute gave him the love and caring that he feared he would never have again after the loss of his parents. Whenever he was out on the prowl with one of a few of his friends, they would always be in the corner of his eye. He was a devoted Shadowhunter, but he wouldn’t lose another person that he loved. Mason would protect his friends over himself, which sometimes lead to great consequences. [/div]

{name:The Enclave#|#picture:0} PANDORA NIGHTWINE PLAYED BY: mi | PORTRAYED BY: Benedita Pereira BIRTHDAY: March 7th, 1996 (17) FAMILY: Sónia (mother), Liam (father), Catherine Nightwine Monteverde (aunt), Rafael Monteverde (uncle) RAISED IN: Lisbon PERSONALITY Pandora, or Pan, is determined and shrewd. She loves her family and the hardest decision she ever made was left her father and never be able to speak to him again or know something about him again. Pandora really thinks that she has the best uncles she could ask for, even if she disagrees with them sometimes, and she treats them almost as parents and loves them as so. One of her biggest passions is travelling around the world, discovering new places and people. Despite having a sharp tongue and looks like the kind of person who doesn’t care help the others when they are having problems, she has many friends and she truly cares about them. She has sympathy for the disadvantaged and helpless people and she’s very kind to them. And always have a word for the ones who think they are superiors to others – she hates them. Pan is a good shadowhunter. She’s one of the few who could choose to be a shadowhunter, decision which sometimes she regrets. A life where isn’t a track of blood, sacrifice, pain and lost? That’s a mundie life, what a beauty life sometimes. But where is the thrill of hunt a demon down, see your life for a string in a mortal jump and in the next second everything is secure and you have adrenaline jumping in your veins? No, the Angel blood is dominant, and this is the only life she could live, it’s her choice. HISTORY Liam Nightwine was a good shadowhunter dedicated to his cause. Once, in a mission in Lisbon, he was called to hunt a demon. When he arrived he saw a mundie girl facing the demon and almost being killed. He interviewed and killed the demon saving the girl. He fell in love for the mundie girl, Sónia, and married her. Leaving the Clave and his birth country forever, he moved out to Lisbon and lived a happy life and had a lovely daughter called Pandora. Pandora was raised in the mundie world, but his father never hid his true nature from her. Pandora knew and could see the Downworld around her, and even if she was fascinated for it she also knew once she chose the Nephilim path she wouldn’t be able to see her parents ever again. So at age six, when the Clave came and asked her if she wanted to join she refused. Two years later a demon attacked the family and killed her mother. Her father couldn’t protect the woman he loved and Pandora felt guilty for don’t have the right training to protect her mother. Therefore she gave herself to the Clave and went live to the Lisbon Institute with her uncles, Mrs and Mr Monteverde. Since then Pan has been training to protect mundies like her mother. As she lived eight years as a mundane she knows enough of both worlds and respects them. At the age ten she found out she loved travel and her uncles didn’t stop her. She has been in the Los Angles, London, Venice, Paris and Rome Institutes remaining there for three-five months, training and making friends. She went to Idris too, and she like the country for be different of every place she had ever been and goes there several times. Missing only seven months to complete eighteen, she decided to finish her training in London. The city always fascinated her and she wanted to see her old friends from London again. So there she goes. [/div]

{name:The Enclave#|#picture:0} SOPHIA BELLEFLEUR PLAYED BY: Jace Wayland | PORTRAYED BY: Candice Accola BIRTHDAY: March 26th, 1996 (17 years old) FAMILY: Maria Bellefleur [born. Fairchild] (mother), Charles Bellefleur (father), Jacob Bellefleur (brother, 19), Adrian Trushcross (cousin) RAISED IN: London PERSONALITY Everyone finds little dogs adorable or kittens but have you ever seen them react to danger? How vicious and badass they could be? That description defines Sophia perfectly. She is the sweetest girl, nice and cute like a button but if you threaten her or the people around her, she will pounce and make sure you never do so again. She may be a strong Shadowhunter but one would think, by first impression, one would think that she does not even care about the responsibilities the Nephilim have...that she would rather go shopping or get a pedicure but she believes and understands her priorities. Sophia does love the typical girlie things a mundane would; she loves fashion, loves the celebrities, she loves the popular music and movies. She is very up to date with the media of the mundane world. Living in London all of her life, she is a very big city girl, she loves the buzz and the busy streets; the atmosphere and the people. One would say that she has a very big mouth, almost difficult to shut but she knows when enough is enough. The negative thing that defines Sophia is this incident she had with an ex boyfriend which makes her very careful with guys; she may seem comfortable but there are limits, there are worries and fears. She has to be certain of the genuine nature before even letting them be friends. HISTORY The Bellefleur family has always lived in London, though her parents are Idris natives; they moved here when they first married. Though both kids had some troubles with their personal lives, Jacob suffering a drug addiction and Sophia, the incident with Derrick, a Shadowhunter boy that stayed for only a couple of months in the Institute. She does not share the story unless necessary. Because of that, Jacob has been the protective big brother ever since...trying to sober up. Their parents aren’t aware of her misfortune because she swore her brother to secrecy, that he could only tell them if it was crucial. Apart from that, which is rather big for them; there is nothing complicated about their family’s Shadowhunter life. Now, Sophia and Jacob live in the London Institute alone as their parents are off to Idris on business. [/div]

{name:The Enclave#|#picture:0} AUDREY VERLAC PLAYED BY: bl4st | PORTRAYED BY: Emma Stone BIRTHDAY: March 26th, 1995 (18) FAMILY: Daniel Verlac (father), Amandine Verlac [born. Merryweather] (mother), Sebastian Verlac (cousin), Meredith Merryweather (cousin) RAISED IN: the Paris Institute PERSONALITY Blunt, brutally honest, rebellious, Audrey Verlac may look like a woman but she talks and swears like a man. Raised amongst mundanes by her strict mother in a city she despises, she grew up as a tomboy, wandering the streets of Paris, picking fights in Montmartre with her mundane friends. It is in those early years that she developed her sarcastic, inappropriate sense of humour. Upon her moving to the Institute run by her dad, age 13, she grew into a beautiful, sophisticated young lady. She learned to dress to her advantage, style her hair and apply makeup as any French girl should. She enamoured herself with her piano, which – god knows why – she named William. When she sits down with William the piano, regardless of her mood, she transforms into some strange, eerie being, exuding delicate feelings and intense emotions. However, her good behaviour was short lived, as she soon became famous across the city as the party-girl daughter of Daniel Verlac. Out of control, famous for her drunken antics – most of which would be terribly inappropriate to mention here - , sparking controversy for seeking the company of human boys, she has a terrible reputation amongst the older generations of Nephilim… A reputation that Audrey has carefully crafted. Indeed, what most people are unaware of is that, despite the loud mouth, bravado and impulsive, flirtatious ways, Audrey has been working very hard at keeping her reputation much grander than life. Why? Who knows. The truth is, Audrey doesn’t like showing the weak side. She’s been around men her whole life, be it her human friends or the shadowhunters training with her at the Institute, and WILL NOT be seen as anything but strong and brave. And, let’s face it, she does like pissing off the authority, whoever the authority is. So, when Audrey tears out of Paris as soon as she can legally do so, and runs away to the London Institute, who could have suspected that she’d been planning it ever since her cousin Sebastian was killed all these years ago? Whose mind would it cross that she may have a hidden agenda, who would even think of linking it to the recent murder of her distant cousin Meredith Merryweather? After all, no one knows that under that façade lies an uncannily perceptive, intuitive, and incredibly genuine young woman. No, not crazy, drunken, wild Audrey Verlac. HISTORY Daniel Verlac, Audrey’s father, runs the Paris Institute. His wife Amandine divorced him shortly after their daughter was born, and retired to the mundane world to raise her daughter. It is in this context that Audrey grew up. Until the age of 13, she lived with her mum and was forced to go to mundane school, despite being fully aware of her heritage, thanks to numerous visits to the Institute with her father – visits that her mother, needless to say, strongly disapproved of. Whatever she may have been getting up to during her youth, Amandine Verlac does not want her daughter to become a shadowhunter, considering it too dangerous a profession. When the Valentine times were over, after endless nagging from Audrey’s part, her mother finally conceded to let her move to the Institute to undergo intensive training, hoping to god it was just an adolescent phase of rebellion. As Audrey’s reputation as the Paris Institute’s wild child spread through the shadowhunter communities of Paris, along with her… controversial companionship (ie human boys), her mother, although disapproving, was immediately reassured – her daughter, despite her dubious morals, did not have what it took to be a shadowhunter. She would be safe. Well, from demons, at least. Similarly, her father, absorbed in shadowhunter business and often abroad, when not locked up in his office, was very much oblivious to his daughter’s actions; regardless of his fondness for her he never did consider her a potential fully-fledged shadowhunter, if only for the fact that she was raised by his ex-wife. Now, as she has finally turned 18, Audrey is running away from that city she hates so much, and moving to London where she decides to seek shelter at the Institute. Her cousin, Meredith Merryweather, has recently been murdered, and while the Clave is trying to keep the affair quiet – or perhaps BECAUSE the clave is keeping the affair quiet – she suspects there is more to it than meets the eye, that this is a different kind of murder than that of her cousin Sebastian. What about her love life? Despite her curvaceous, feminine figure and flirty ways, she’s not comfortable around most girls – especially girly girls, who she finds particularly annoying – and much prefers the company of men... and indeed, she’s often seen with various boys around her age; she seems to date a lot but never get attached… at all. She seems to be the “tough love” type – which is in fact her way of hiding incredible gentleness, a gentleness rarely unlocked. Indeed, while she seems to be seeking scandal for fun – and maybe even the sheer hell of it - , she has a thing for people who, like wounded animals, need to be taken care of. [/div]
