{name:The Enclave#|#picture:0} Carleton Square is a lovely place to go to, to relax and have a warm drink from one of the shops that surrounds it.

{name:Adrian Trushcross#|#picture:2}It was still quite early in the day so there weren't many people around, it was quite nice. The breeze was fresh, a little cold for the month of July but it was nothing but pleasant. "I come here to buy my croissants," he stayed close to Rayna as they walked down the square. The water from the fountains were gently heard, the smell of different kind of food was delicious, the low music kept the streets animated but just enough to let you wake up slowly. "It gets a little hectic in the afternoon so if you're to come at all, this is the time to do it..." he told her with a smile, reassuring her. She had not seemed certain if she should go or not in the attick but he was glad she came. "You like it?" he hoped. It was one of his favourite places in London.

{name:Rayna Aldertree#|#picture:3}Rayna concentrated on breathing in and out for a few minutes. The air out here in London was so much different then inside the Institute, she felt free and all she wanted to do was fly. Rayna found that she didn't even mind the people there, even though it would usually be alot of people for her. "Wow." she wanted to extend her arms out and just twist but stayed in a normal position next to Adrian. "Yeah.. its lovely!" she jumped a little, walking quickly to a near shop, peering through couple of people to see what they sold. Unable to see past a small crowd she quit, walking back to Adrian. "So, are you getting croissants today?"

{name:Adrian Trushcross#|#picture:2}Adrian watched Rayna very closely, she seemed so fragile and he had this urge to want to be there if she fell or something like that. He liked being around her, he found he could be himself; happy and friendly. He loved that he could show her new places, places that she seemed to adore. “There are so many other places you should explore...London has to be one of the most beautiful places on the planet,” he smiled. It looked like a new world had just opened in front of her eyes. He stopped when she moved closer to the window, people zig zagging around him. He was in the way but he didn’t move away. “I am...” he pointed to the shop three doors down, “And you’re trying one too,” he took her forearm and pulled her gently in the direction of the place. Taking her hand would have probably caused more awkwardness than needed. Adrian pushed the door opened and the bells ringed as the whiff of the fresh baked good exploded in front of him.

{name:Rayna Aldertree#|#picture:3}Rayna had only been to London once or twice, she couldn't remember, she was very little. She had only been in London because her parents had to visit, and she couldn't stay in Idris. No one there could take care of her at the time, and she was much too young to stay alone. But just looking around for a bit, Rayna knew why Adrian said it was beautiful. She wandered off a lot for a bit, it felt as if she needed to look at everything because she wasn't going to come back. But in the back of her mind Rayna was going to come here often. She was starting to like the place quickly. Rayna had barely noticed anyone around her, including Adrian until he pulled her towards what seemed like a bread shop. Then she remembered that he was buying croissants. The smell that came from the shop made her mouth water, just looking at the food being displayed and sold made her hungry. "Everything looks like it tastes so good!" she squealed.

{name:Adrian Trushcross#|#picture:2}“And it does taste good,” he confirmed, waving to the baker. “A dozen and two on the side, please...” he ordered and lead Rayna to the little table next to the window when he got his things. Though it was a bakery, the owner had also placed a few tables; made it look like a little cafe. One could sit there, eat their goods, smell the delicious smell of all the pastry as they had one of the most beautiful view of the Square. “Here...you have to try one,” Adrian pushed the little plate in her direction; the croissant hardly fit in it, falling out on each side. “Butter?” he asked, picking a little cube out from the basket on their table.

{name:Rayna Aldertree#|#picture:3}Rayna took the croissant off the plate, turning it over in her hand, admiring the baker's work. The croissant was almost perfectly shaped, in her eyes. Rayna looked at it as if she were about to do an experiment. She ripped off a piece and took a bite before she could say if she wanted butter or not. The piece melted in her mouth, and the taste was foreign but great. She put the croissant back on the plate. "Butter.. yes, please." she smiled. Rayna wanted to see what it would taste like with something on it, she imagined it would taste even better. "I cannot believe I have never had one of these!" she was lying of course, Rayna usually just made something with the stuff her mother had in the kitchen. Without ever requesting for a treat. Just thinking about it, made her want to curl up in a corner, but she fought her sadness and put on a smile.
OOC: its okay, feel better! IC:

{name:Adrian Trushcross#|#picture:2}OCC: *is spastic* GAH! SO MANY DAYS LATER BIC: Adrian watched her eat, her eyes so big, her excitement written all over her face and it didn't fail to make him smile. She was in for quite a treat, the hot croissants were the best things in the world. As she tried her first piece, he pulled his croissant apart in two and put the melting butter on it. "Here..." he pushed the cup of butter in her direction. "Put it on as it's still hot, I garantee that it'll be much better." he said, ripping a piece in his mouth and nearly having it water. This place, these croissants, they were one of his favourite thing in London. "I can't believe it either!" he said with a little laugh, "But I'm honestly glad you're trying it now and that I'm the one who introduced you to them," he grinned, nudging his head so she would take the first bite. "Go on, try it now..." he said softly.

{name:Rayna Aldertree#|#picture:3}A ripped piece of croissant was already smeared with butter. Rayna was so excited to try it that she didn't notice how quickly she had bitten into the croissant. She knew not to swallow too fast, just to savor it as much as possible. Rayna soon realized that Adrian was right, it did taste better, she couldn't describe the taste properly. She started eating the rest of her croissant, and soon she took her last bite. Rayna didn't realize till' she was done that she hadn't said a word. "Thank you for introducing me to this." she smiled gratefully. Rayna probably wouldn't have left the Institute if Adrian hadn't offered. "How did you find this place?" her eyes had wondered off to a group of people walking through the Square. Rayna didn't know why the particular question popped into her head, but it did, and she had a habit saying things without really realizing what she had just said. OOC: its fine i haven't been able to post either, until now
